Paignton by Numbers
I was delighted to paint a sculpture for The Great Big Rhino Project – a world class mass public art event appearing on the streets, parks and open spaces of the English Riviera and Exeter throughout the summer of 2016.
My design called ‘Paignton by Numbers’ was a play on words and takes its inspiration from an unfinished DIY ‘painting by numbers’ kit. It features lots of landmarks around Paignton, including the pier, the beach huts at Goodrington Sands and the zoo. My rhino, was situated at Kingsweir Station in Devon from the 30th July to 9th October 2016 and was sponsored by the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Boat Company, a popular tourist attraction on the English Riviera coast.
